Window World is pretty well known in the window industry, in fact you probably have seen some of their ads plastered all over billboards, newspapers, and flyers.
Their big selling point? Vinyl replacement windows installed for $199.
Sounds good right? Almost too good to be true, but in fact it is true!
So how do they sell their windows for low price?
I've been in the window business since 1988 and I've seen plenty of vinyl window companies come and go, you could probably say that I've "seen it all". Window world is by far the most successful "cheap" replacement window company.
- Window world's basic model window is actually a brand called "alside excalibur" available through the company Alside. It's just simply rebranded as window world's own brand windows.
- Window worlds basic model retails for $199 for a very basic installation.
- Installation does not cover disposal of the windows, interior trim, or exterior trim casing.
- Grids between the glass, full screens, and other options are all added costs.
- A "complete" window installation from window world will run you about $350 per window.
